Brand identity e web design for Superforma makerspace, 2018-2019.
Dynamic identity for a multi-faceted space
We had the pleasure of handling the design and realisation of the branding elements of SuperForma, a makerspace and FabLab in Milan associated with the WaspHub network.
We created the logo taking inspiration from impossible geometric shapes such as the hypercube, and Escher’s experiments on form. We then declined it on various applications, both physical and digital – from the business card, to the website, to way-finding and space design.
We designed the co-ordinating elements while maintaining the main geometric element of the line, in the case of wayfinding, and the logotype on the business card, which propagate and distort when brought into contact with the 3D space. We also designed and developed the first version of the website.
TLDR
We designed a dynamic brand identity for SuperForma, a Milanese makerspace associated with the WaspHub network. The logo design is inspired by impossible geometric shapes, and the different faces represent their variations.
